- The Word of Life

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life. ( For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us; ) That which we have seen and heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: And truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 
1 John 1: 1-3
- The Antechrist
Who is the liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist , that denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: ( but ) he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
1 John 2: 22,23
- His one and only Son
- In this was manifested the love of God towards us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4: 9,10
- Belief in the Son of God
- He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.
1 John 5: 10-12
- God is light
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5
- The true God and eternal life
- And we know also that the Son of God has come , and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true , and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life . 1 John 5:20
